Students concern

Whenever I find time, I used to chat with the students of electronics discipline studying at nearby Government/private polytechnics and engineering colleges at their institution  campuses just to share mutual interest in the subject matter. To my surprise the conversations which I had with them revealed many facts and concerns over their performance in their practical classes. I came across a sizable number of students expressing their frustration and disappointment over hooking of circuit schematic diagram on the solderless breadboard in their practical classes to fulfill their academic project work. 

The frustration that they experienced was due to inability to assemble correctly the circuit schematic on solderless breadboard and disappointment due to failure or malfunction of the circuit over the board resulting scoring minimum marks to pass out the Lab work. This also resulted in failure to complete the project within the scheduled time which should be adhered to in their practical classes. Hence they were forced to close the work in a shabby with full of errors and mistakes. 

Due to improper and wrong hooking of sensitive electronics components such as diodes, transistors and integrated circuits while assembling on the board, the vital components get damaged making economic losses as well as the same cannot be used again. All these flaws make the students to loose the credit and score poor during the academic evaluation. Naturally they miserably fail in their studies. 

Hence there is an urgent and imperative need to make the students community especially with Science, Electronics and Engineering discipline to sharpen their knowledge and skill in correct assembling technique and thereby fulfilling their aspirations by making them to achieve the desired results. Based on this vital need this tutorial on building electronics projects on breadboard is made.
